STV appoints new deputy content director

STV Productions has appointed Liam Hamilton as their new Deputy Director Of Content.

STV Productions today announced the appointment of Liam Hamilton as Deputy Director of Content for STV Productions. Hamilton will join the business later this year.

Hamilton joins STV from DCD Media where he held the role of Business Development Director. He is a former Programme Controller with ITV and Managing Director of London Weekend Television.

In this new role at STV, Hamilton's primary responsibility will be to support the development and expansion of STV Productions, working with the core development team and building relationships across the UK.

Alan Clements, Director of Content for STV said, "I am delighted to welcome Liam to the STV Productions team and very much look forward to working with him to continue to develop our business. I'm confident that Liam can help build on our recent successes in securing commissions and working in partnership with a wide range of broadcasters, both in the UK and overseas."

Hamilton said, "I am excited to be joining STV Productions and working with Alan and the team to develop new programmes for the UK and international markets."
