BDO Stoy Hayward LLP has announced that it has appointed Neil Fung-On as a specialist Investment Management and Funds Partner within its Financial Services Group (FSG). Fung-On brings more than 12 years experience to the role and joins BDO Stoy Hayward from Smith & Williamson, where he was Head of the Financial Services & Markets Group. Prior to that Fung-On was at RSM Robson Rhodes for 10 years where he spent most of his time specialising in audits for financial services clients. Fung-On's immediate focus within the FSG will be heading up the investment management and funds sub-sector, which will include on/offshore investment funds, hedge funds, private equity and the regulated firms that manage these vehicles. In addition, he will seek to further grow the existing Investment Management and Funds team. Commenting on his appointment, Fung-On, partner and head of Investment Management and Funds, at BDO Stoy Hayward says: “I am delighted to be joining the team at such an exciting period and look forward to growing the firm’s offering in the investment management and funds arena.” Peter Chidgey, Head of the Financial Services Group, BDO Stoy Hayward LLP says: “The Financial Services Group is the fastest growing sector at BDO Stoy Hayward and we will continue to grow and expand the team over the coming months. Neil’s appointment follows the recent employment of Jean Claude Lam Hung as a director specialising in insurance internal audit, highlighting the growth phase the team is currently undergoing.” |
