Catlin appoints new director in US |

Catlin Group Limited (LON:CGL ), the international specialty property/casualty insurer and reinsurer, announces that Dan Kumpf has joined Catlin US as Director of Professional Lines. Kumpf will be responsible for the design, environmental and construction professional liability lines. He will also be responsible for miscellaneous errors and omissions (E&O) insurance, focusing on technology E&O and professional liability coverage for lawyers, accountants and insurance agents. Kumpf joins Catlin with 20 years of underwriting experience in professional lines and will be based in Catlin s Philadelphia office. Commenting on the appointment, Nick Greggains, chief underwriting officer for Catlin US s insurance operations said: I am pleased to have someone with Dan Kumpf s experience and leadership skills in this position. We are firmly committed to serving the needs of our customers in this important segment of the business, and I cannot think of anyone more qualified than Dan to lead that effort.
