Ernst & Young has announced the admission of a new partner to its technology security and risk practice, taking the total number of partners in the UK group to 17. Ben Taylor has been admitted to the partnership with immediate effect and is based in London. The firm recently announced the appointment of four direct entry partners into the technology security and risk practice, as part of its ongoing investment in IT advisory and information security services. Ben has been with Ernst & Young for a decade and has built up Ernst & Young’s Information Management and Analytics practice to respond to market demand to address issues such as price optimization, supply chain leakage, cost of control and continuous controls monitoring. Richard Brown, a partner in technology security and risk services, said “I am delighted to welcome Ben to the partnership. We are focused on increasing our UK presence in the market place and are committed to recruiting and retaining outstanding people. Despite the massive amounts of data collected and held by organisations, most of them struggle to make effective use of it for good decision making, and Ben’s expertise in analytics and information management will prove invaluable in helping organisations use technology to get the right information to make the right business decisions in the current challenging economy." |
