International law firm Eversheds has announced the appointment of Kathryn Fleming as Finance Director. Following an extensive search both externally and internally, Kathryn Fleming will be taking on the role of Eversheds Financial Director with immediate effect. Fleming has been with Eversheds for the last 3 years, firstly taking on Head of Finance for the firms international operations and subsequently worked on a number of international projects including new office set ups and international integration. More recently, since January 2009, Kathryn has also taken on the Head of Finance role for the firms practice groups. Prior to joining Eversheds, Fleming held a number of senior finance roles within the retail and the telecommunications sectors, with Marks and Spencer, Johnson Controls and British Telecom. Fleming has specific expertise in the area of mergers and acquisitions, investment evaluation, supply chain management, corporate finance, business process re-engineering, commercial performance and change management.
