| Fidelity appoints ex-PwC global leader |

Simon Jeffreys, formerly of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), has joined Fidelity International Limited as Chief Administrative Officer, responsible for Finance, Operations and Product Development.
Jeffreys was PwC's global investment management and real estate leader and a member of the firm’s Global Financial Services Leadership Team. Prior to joining the PwC UK partnership in 1986, he was a partner in South Africa. He is an active contributor to global investment management issues and has been a member of the World Economic Forum’s Pensions Taskforce. Barry Bateman, Vice-Chairman of Fidelity International commented: “Simon Jeffreys’ appointment reflects the continuing growth in the scale and scope of Fidelity International. Simon’s substantial knowledge of the asset management industry and broad financial services experience will be of benefit to all our senior management team.” Fidelity International Limited (“FIL”) was established in Bermuda nearly 40 years ago and serves the major markets of the world by providing investment products and services to individuals and institutional investors outside the US. The FIL Organisation manages a total of US$275 billion of assets. |
