Finance director resigns at AMEC Print E-mail
Monday, 17 March 2008
AMEC plc, the international engineering and project management company, has announced the resignation of finance director Stuart Siddall.

AMEC said that Siddall leaves the firm “well-positioned for an exciting future”, following the sale of SPIE in 2006, the successful transformation of AMEC and sale of its non-core UK construction activities during 2007 and the delivery of record results.

AMEC plc (LSE:AMEC) is a focused supplier of high-value consultancy, engineering, and project management services to the world’s energy, power and process industries.

With annual revenues of over £2.3 billion, AMEC designs, delivers and maintains strategic and complex assets for its customers.

AMEC's businesses employ approximately 20,000 people in more than 30 countries globally.

Siddall will step down from the board following the company’s annual general meeting on 14 May 2008 and will leave at the end of May 2008.

Samir Brikho, CEO, said, “I would like to thank Stuart for his contribution to AMEC and the support and advice he has given to me personally. I wish him every success for the future.”
