| Mapeley appoints chief financial officer |

Nicholas Friedlos has been appointed chief financial officer at Mapeley Ltd, starting on 30 June 2008.
Friedlos has over 25 years of accounting and finance experience, with the most recent 10 years being within the property industry. He was most recently executive director of Derwent London plc and has also held the position of finance director at both London Merchant Securities plc and Land Securities Trillium. Friedlos was also a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mapeley is a Guernsey-based market leading property company whose core business is the acquisition, ownership and management of a diverse portfolio of commercial properties throughout the UK let to government and strong credit quality tenants. Jamie Hopkins, Mapeley's (LSE:MAY) chief executive, said, "Nick is a well regarded professional with strong sector expertise covering all aspects of commercial property including real estate outsourcing."
