Peter Kerger has been appointed Head Of Asia Pacific For Deutsche Bank’s Institutional Asset Management Business. Deutsche Bank’s Asset Management division today announced that Peter Kerger has been appointed Head of Asia Pacific for DB Advisors. Kerger, a Managing Director, will be based in Singapore and assumes this new role on September 1. He reports to Roelfien Kuijpers, a Managing Director and Global Head of DB Advisors, Deutsche Bank’s institutional asset management business. Kerger will oversee DB Advisors’ business in the region. DB Advisors offers a wide range of global investment strategies and services to institutions such as pension plans, endowments and sovereign wealth funds. “Economic growth in the Asia Pacific region has driven a rapid rise in the demand for asset management services,” said Kuijpers. “With more assets to invest, Asia Pacific institutions are increasingly looking for innovative solutions across a wider range of asset classes and geographic regions. With Peter on the ground, we are happy to reinforce our commitment to our clients and expand our franchise in the region.” Kerger is currently Co-Head of European Institutional Distribution, alongside Christian Schoen. Following Kerger’s relocation to Singapore, Institutional Distribution in Europe will be led as follows. Michael Fuss, a Managing Director, has been appointed Head of Institutional Distribution for Germany. Christian Schoen and Peter Roemer, European Head of DB Advisors, will be responsible for Institutional Distribution across the rest of Europe. DB Advisors offers investment management solutions to institutional investors, such as corporate and public pension funds, not-for-profit organizations, and government and municipal authorities worldwide. The firm's well-resourced investment platform brings together a wide variety of experience and insight across industries, regions, asset classes and investment styles. DB Advisors has the local expertise to spot opportunity and the global perspective to weigh the attractiveness of investments for clients around the world.
