| RBS appoints Head of Project Finance |

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has appointed Simon Orchard as Managing Director and Head of Project Finance, Shipping and Structured Finance within its Loan Markets business.
Orchard will spearhead the continued development and growth of the Project Finance business within the markets of Europe, Middle East and Africa. He joins RBS from BNP Paribas, where he was most recently Head of ECEP (Energy Commodities Export & Project) Syndications, London. Furthermore, Simon Orchard has held various positions within BNP Paribas over the past ten years. Mr. Orchard will report to Declan McGrath, Head of Loan Capital Markets, RBS Global Banking & Markets. Declan McGrath commented: "I am delighted that Simon has decided to join RBS. He brings a wealth of experience as we seek to further expand our presence in Project Finance within the markets of Europe, Middle East and Africa, capitalising on our already strong loan markets franchise." |
