IT software and services company eg solutions plc has appointed Violetta Parylo as finance director and company secretary with effect from Monday 19 May 2008.
Parylo, 42, has 14 years of experience in delivering strategic, financial and business value, having held a number of senior finance positions within both UK and international companies. A graduate of Keele University, Parylo started her career in 1989 at Neville Russell Chartered Accountants in Birmingham. In 1993 she moved to the Birmingham office of FTSE 100 listed 3i plc, where she enjoyed a succession of internal promotions over a twelve year period. Subsequently, Parylo progressed to the position of finance director within Keane Limited in Coventry, part of the US quoted business process and IT services firm Keane Inc. Parylo was most recently employed as finance director of Lichfield-based Nextiraone UK Limited, a subsidiary of Dutch registered €1 billion private equity company NextiraOne Group BV. As a member of the UK board of directors and with overall responsibility for a 35 strong finance function, she was part of a senior team whose focus was on the implementation of strategic planning in order to deliver consistent year-on-year growth. Elizabeth Gooch, chief executive officer at AIM-listed eg solutions (LSE:EGS), said, “With an exceptionally strong track record, Violetta brings a wealth of relevant experience to the company and I look forward to working with her in taking eg solutions to the next stage of development and beyond."
