Andy Bruce, 37, of Billingham and Paul Thompson, 34, of Newcastle are the latest recruits to join Unified Software, whose clients include BP and JP Morgan. IT Sales Executive, Andy has both an MA in Marketing and an MSc in Information Technology. He said: “I’d been self employed working in IT for three years and was looking for something completely different. Prior to working for myself, I was a Sales Manager for six years so the job advert in the Chronicle described my perfect job, a combination of an IT and Sales role. Unified Software director Christine Forsyth said: “Andy will help to create a successful sales department and Paul will be responsible for creating and maintaining Unified Software’s cutting edge products. Software Developer Paul who previously worked at the NHS Business Services Authority said: “Being part of a successful business which develops cutting edge products sounded like a really exciting opportunity. I’m delighted to have been given this position and look forward to a successful future with Unified Software.” Paul has a BSc in Information Management, an MSc in Computing and an MSc in Intelligent Systems. Christine continued: “Both Andy and Paul have a wealth of experience between them, which made them ideal candidates for the posts. They’re excellent additions to the team and already proving to be assets to the business.” Unified Software, based at the e.volve centre in Sunderland, provides a range of products including BankVal UK and BankVal International, to ensure successful financial transactions. Other services within their portfolio include data cleansing, validation and query services essential for business to business and business to customer financial communication.
