Nationwide appointments two non-exec directors |

Nationwide Building Society (LON:POB) has announced that Michael Jary and Kevin Loosemore today joined its Board as non-executive directors. Jary has had many years' experience of advising boards of major retail and consumer businesses.He is currently Managing Partner of OC&C Strategy Consultants, a leading international strategy consultancy firm, having been one of the original founders of the business in 1987. In the course of his career Jary has worked with many of the UK's leading retailers. He is also the Chairman of Duchy Originals. Loosemore has a strong information technology background having held senior executive positions at IBM, De La Rue, Motorola and Cable & Wireless. He is currently Chairman of Micro Focus International PLC and Executive Chairman of Morse PLC. During his career Loosemore has run businesses in software, services, communications and manufacturing and has overseen the delivery of major IT and transformation programmes. Geoffrey Howe, Nationwide's Chairman, said: "I am delighted to welcome Michael and Kevin to the Nationwide Board.
