Our client is one of the UK’s fastest growing financial services networks, regulated by the Financial Services Authority. They are currently looking to recruit a talented Business Development Executive to join their team.
This is the ideal position for an ambitious Sales professional with experience in the financial services industry to develop a key area for the company. As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for recruiting IFAs throughout the South of England to join our client’s financial services network.
Covering the whole of the South of England including Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Kent, Dorset, and Devon, your role will involve increasing membership to our client’s network by identifying potential members via advertising and personal referrals.
Your role will involve following up with meetings in order to demonstrate the benefits of joining the network, and to assess their suitability. Additionally, you will be responsible for the retention of existing members, identifying ways of encouraging network growth, and promoting best practices.
To succeed as the Business Development Executive you must be fully FPC qualified, with sales experience from within the financial services industry. You must also have knowledge of FSA principles, and competency using MS Office. You will also need to demonstrate good negotiation and communication skills, along with a professional approach.
Candidates who have FPC 1 and 2, but currently studying for FPC 3 will be considered as long as full FPC is gained within a reasonable timescale upon joining the Company.
