Our client is a dynamic independent power company building a multi-asset European energy business using a buy and build strategy, strengthened with complementary secured finance and hedging deals, backed by major banks and institutions.
With current turnover of £100 million plus, and plans to increase this several fold over the coming two or three years by mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships and organic growth, the Company’s aggressive approach to project financing call for an outstanding Group Finance Director expert in deal making, project financing and the management of a wide range of debt and equity partners. Joining a management team motivated by the challenge of growth whilst being committed to the safeguarding of the interests of all backers and investors, the Group Finance Director will excel in this dynamic environment and have the all round business acumen to make a significant contribution to the senior team.
A qualified accountant, ideally with project financing, M&A, flotation and regulated market experience, the successful candidate will assume full responsibility for the operation and integrity of all financial management activities, tax planning and investor relations. Providing across the board financial excellence, leadership and relationship management skills, you will have an innovative but probity driven style and will command the respect of all colleagues and stakeholders in a non-hierarchical informal environment where corporate and personal success and contribution will be recognised and rewarded.
