This international plc, based in Crawley, West Sussex is recruiting for a Group Financial Accountant. You will be a dynamic individual looking to progress within a fast-paced FTSE 100 company.

This high profile role is a newly created position, due to continued growth both organically and M&A's. Reporting into the Group FC, responsibilities include:

·Assisting with the timely production of interim and full year group statutory accounts for the business.
·Liaising with auditors on issues arising during statutory reporting process.
·Take responsibility for the quarterly submission of results.
·Assist with the quarterly announcement of results to UK markets, coinciding with the quarterly publication of foreign results. Also, to be involved in the preparation of additional analysis of results for use by Group CFO.
·Liaise with Group Chief Accountant to ensure compliance of Group results with IFRS.
·To head up various future high-profile projects, including system implementations.

Badenoch & Clark are looking to attract:
·Qualified accountant with prior experience of a group finance function, preferably for a UK PLC.
·Experience of complex, international, multi-currency environments.
·Strong technical skills and experience of IFRS reporting requirements.
·Likely to have experience of consumer facing industries (eg leisure, retail).
·Ability to develop strong relationships across the organisation and maintain credibility with Senior Management.
