Our client is a very successful, quoted IT services and solutions plc. Led by a highly experienced Board, revenues and profits have expanded rapidly, both organically and through the successful acquisition and integration of a number of complementary businesses. With current revenues of c.£50m pa they now seek an energetic, ‘hands on’ FD to become immersed in all aspects of the business’s operations to continue this pace of growth and share in their future success.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining the efficient monthly financial and KPI reporting whilst integrating new acquisitions.
• Providing first class commercial support to the Board and senior management.
• Managing all aspects of planning, budgeting and statutory reporting in a continuously evolving business.
• Input at all stages of the M&A project cycle for a continuously active pipeline of potential acquisitions.
• Leading and motivating a geographically dispersed Finance, Admin & HR team.

Relevant candidates will:
• Be graduate Chartered Accountants from a large or medium sized practice with a subsequent ‘fast track’ career in industry, ideally in a services environment.
• Be ambitious, high calibre individuals, already operating at Board level in successful private businesses or divisions of larger entities.
• Have demonstrable M&A experience.
• Combine a pragmatic, ‘hands on’ operating style with the personal gravitas, commercial and communication skills to contribute fully at operational and Board level and deal credibly with external investors and advisors.
