Our client is a highly influential, professional body for doctors working to protect, support and represent over 138,000 members from all branches of the profession. They are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the Group Management Accountant, as the Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following:

- Preparing the monthly management accounts (including an investment company), re-forecasting and annual budgeting
- Monitoring control accounts and reconciling where necessary
- Providing cover for the Group Management Accountant and other staff

To succeed as the Management Accountant you must have previous relevant accountancy experience and you must be part qualified in CIMA, ACA or ACCA. You will also need to be proficient in Excel, with the ability to produce or tailor spreadsheets to analyse.

Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and you will need a flexible approach, along with the ability to manage and prioritise many conflicting demands.
