Our client is a fast growing inkjet printing company with world leading technology and a growing number of international customers. They are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, as the Management Accountant you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and extracting financial data for reporting purposes. There will be a strong emphasis on the production of ad hoc reporting and analysis, and you will also take responsibility for managing information for the annual audit, and preparing financial reports for their parent company.
To succeed as the Management Accountant you must have previous accountancy experience, ideally from within a manufacturing environment. You will also need to be fully or part qualified in CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent). Candidates who are part qualified must be in the final stages of their qualification.
With your strong analytical and methodical approach, you must be able to demonstrate a record of professional experience and responsibility. Additionally, you will also need experience in the extraction and manipulation of underlying financial data using Microsoft Access and Excel from SQL databases.
Although not essential, any experience of using an MRP system would be beneficial.
